Alex went to school at the University of Minnesota – Duluth and graduated with degrees in economics and finance. What’s your favorite sport and why?
“My favorite sport is lacrosse. I started playing in the fourth grade as an off-season cross-training method for hockey. I’ve acquired some of my best friends and experiences from playing on different teams and traveling to different places for lacrosse.”
Frank Rush, the Director of Property Management, graduated from the University of Minnesota – Duluth with finance degree, but he has always had an interest in real estate. His parents owned a few houses in the cities and he bought a home and rented it out to some friends in college, so it only seemed fitting for him to get involved with the purchasing of properties with Alex in 2010 and the development of East West Property Management in 2014.
If you go on your dream vacation, where would you go?
“Right now it would probably be… maybe Ireland. Friends and family have been there specifically and had really great things to say. In general, I would love to go backpacking in Europe because I’ve never been and it’s easy to visit different places and see different cultures in Europe because the countries are so close to each other.”
Micah is the Maintenance Coordinator at East West Property Management and has been with the company for about seven months. His past experience was in carpentry and construction, but he’s had a lot of experience with the maintenance side of owning his own properties and was looking to get into maintenance which is a bit easier on the body than construction and, therefore, he found himself working for East West Property Management.
What is your favorite movie and why?
“Forest Gump. Why? I don’t know, probably because it proves that even not the smartest person can become a millionaire and be successful.”
